Glenrock Gardens

Owners: Duayne and Camille

Address - 84 Robinsons Lane, Tenterfield

Glenrock was originally part of the iconic Tenterfield Station, subdivided in 1901. Today the 150-acre property is home to 10 acres of stunning gardens, first designed and developed by renowned local gardener Caroline Robinson. Many locals lent their hands and hearts to the gardens over the years, and the property holds fond memories for the whole community.

The original cottage, a modest four-room dwelling, dates back to 1892. It was Chris and Annie who later poured their heart and soul into the property, doing much of the heavy lifting to shape what is now Glenrock Gardens Estate.

In January 2026, Camille and Duayne took the reins for Glenrock's next chapter. They're thrilled to welcome garden lovers back to this special place and to keep growing its story with every visitor.

The gardens are evolving with the change of ownership, and Camille, Duayne and their 2 girls are excited to add their touch to the gardens with the help of the Glenrock Garden on-site team.

Background
From a horse paddock to a garden with Autumn delight From dog wire fence to a manicured hedge (hence the property name) From pots to mature trees - all in 35 years. Autumn colour via 22 English oaks, combined with ornamental pears, maples and a Ginko tree. Mix those to our variety of Ash and acers trees to produce a kaleidoscope of colour. Our garden trails throughout the garden are lined with camellias and azaleas.

The garden was originally designed by a German couple. Their thoughts were of an English theme. I have developed the next phase to more encompass the change to the era in which we live, but still in keeping with tranquillity. The garden incorporates many rooms. Autumn allows our visitors to look up and admire the colours that flow and fall which draws people from all over the world.
We invite you to come and see for yourself the splendour of all the different colours.
