Open Gardens
The committee of the New England Garden Festival is extremely grateful to the owners of the gardens that are opening in 2026.
The owners of the gardens have committed considerable time and effort to present their gardens for the festival; please extend your gratitude to them should the opportunity arise.
Open Gardens – What you need to know
Visitors to open gardens should understand that all gardens present an element of risk. Hazards exist at each location, ranging from deep ponds, uneven pathways, trip hazards and sloping ground, to insects and possibly even snakes.
When buying tickets and signing in to our Open Gardens, you acknowledge and accept personal responsibility for the various risks incurred in visiting a private garden.
Please also note:
-
Please do not enter any buildings or outhouses at any property and always respect the owner’s privacy.
-
Dogs are allowed in private gardens provided they are on a lead at all times. You must clean up after them.
-
You are welcome to take photos; however, please do not post photos of personal spaces on social media.
Tickets, descriptions, dates, times and directions will be available soon.
