The Festival features the amazing creativity of children again this year with entry to 3 competitions. At the festival, follow the signs to the display of competition entries in the room under the Grandstand.

Circus and Bubble Play Space
(Saturday and Sunday)
The Circus and Bubble Play Space runs for a (4) four-hour block on Saturday and Sunday at the festival site. STAY FOR PICNIC LUNCH TOO!
Kids! Blow your mind with Bubbles - oooooooooo!
Come along to learn new skills and test if mum and dad can remember how to hula-hoop! FREE to participate!
UNE Discovery Voyager - Saturday only
The Discovery Voyager is UNE’s Science outreach and engagement program, delivering interactive, curriculum-aligned activities in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Maths) to the festival.
FREE FOR ALL ENQUIRING MINDS!
We offer activities in ecology, physics, chemistry, Latin/biology, precision agriculture, sports science, palaeontology, and natural history based on the collections showcased in the UNE Natural History Museum.
UNE Discovery Workshop - Ages 8 - 12 yrs

UNE Scientists will conduct a 45-minute long science discovery session at 12.15 pm on Saturday. Join the group of up to 30 to conduct some dastardly experiments, and........... BE READY FOR SOME SURPRISES!
