The New England Garden Festival is an annual not-for-profit event run by a dedicated volunteer Committee, supporting local communities across the New England region. Held in late October/early November, the Festival and accompanying New England Garden Trail raise funds for local charities and community organisations—with all money raised in each community staying in that community.
Our vision We support the care of vulnerable people our local community, through raising funds in a sustainable annual festival that is family friendly and promotes a culturally diverse, shared festival experience for performers, patrons and supporters.
What to Expect The Festival offers something for everyone—an engaging program of entertainment, workshops, and stalls featuring delicious food, garden products, and lifestyle goods. It is designed to be a relaxing fun-filled community event that appeals to all ages.

Open Gardens
We are aiming to publish a full list of open gardens by June 2026. However, due to regional drought conditions, there may be a delay in listing the gardens. We have consulted garden owners who are concerned that substantial rain is required to bring the gardens to their best for visitors.
